Overview
A new Dashboard Widget has been added “Quick Quote Lookup” or also known as Customer Specific Item Lookup
A way to look up a Part Number to view data specific to a certain Account.
It gives the ability to be able to look up an Account and a Part Number at the same time so that contract pricing and sales history can be viewed as well pertaining to that Account
How to Setup Dashboard - Quick Quote Lookup
Note: Please refer to KB Article How to Setup the Dashboard - KB
- Navigate to the Customize menu on the right hand side and Add Dashboard.
- A pop-up will appear asking to enter Dashboard Name - Type **Quick Quote Lookup** or name it what you may prefer for instance **Customer Specific Item Lookup**

Note that multiple dashboards can be created, each one containing different widgets.

Once the name has been entered, navigate back to the Customize Menu and choose the widget to add onto the newly created dashboard. In this example,

Add Utility Widget > Quick Quote Lookup

Some widgets are larger analytical widgets that may need a Dashboard page of their own.

Draw out the size of this widget to encompass the entire size of the Dashboard
Quick Quote Lookup
- A field for “ Account Name ” and “ Part Number ” with Name of field will appear in the field when it is blank in a gray font.

As user types Account Name, the character field will predict and show Accounts containing typed in characters. Select Account

Likewise, As user types Part Number, the character field will predict and display Part Numbers and their Descriptions containing typed in characters.

Select Part Number and description.

The screen will show no info until there is both an Account and a part number selected.

When an item is selected, if the user changes one of the fields, like changing Account, data will change to still show that same part number but show data for newly selected Account and vice versa.

Part number will have an orange hyperlink, when clicked it will open the Item Manager screen for the item. Also Manufacturer and Default Vendor is colored orange hyperlinked

Also shows UPC, Description, Sell Price for selected Account and Cost.

- Part Number: hyperlinked to Item Manager screen

- Default Vendor: to Vendor Manager screen
- Availability: Warehouse Inventory Log screen

Security Requirements
- If a user does not have security access to the Item Manager, Manufacturer Management, and or Vendor screens, those items will not be hyperlinked, since no access is allowed to those screens.
